Zinc Stearate Release Agent for challenging applications
Stoner E474 Zinc Stearate Mold Release is a dry powder, heavy-duty release agent and anti-stick lubricant and is successfully applied as the first choice solution by international plastic processing manufacturers for challenging releases of molded plastics, rubber, and similar materials.
With E474 Zinc Stearate Release Agent molded parts can be painted, plated, hot stamped, adhesive bonded, labeled or otherwise decorated in most applications. Being a silicone-free release agent, Stoner E474 is generally considered suitable for applications that require a food grade mold release solution.
Zinc Stearate Mold Release is ideal for testing new molds. It provides a heavy duty and long lasting anti-stick film for a fast and easy removal of parts from molds as well as multiple part releases per application. In general, the application of a thin anti-stick-coat is sufficient to ensure a safe and efficient release after molding.
