Release Agent for Epoxies, Phenolics and other Thermosets

Stoner E497 Thermoset Carnauba based Mold Release is specially formulated as release agent and anti-stick lubricant for molded thermoset plastics, rubber, epoxies, phenolics and other thermoset and thermoplastic resins. E497 allows molded parts to be painted, plated, hotstamped, adhesive bonded, labeled, or otherwise decorated.

Stoner E497 Thermoset Mold Release is specially formulated for epoxies, phenolics and other thermoset resins, it contains no silicones or oils. E497 eliminates the need for paste or block wax releases and provides a long lasting anti-stick film for fast, easy part removal from molds as well as multiple part releases per application.

Used extensively in composites R&D labs, the silicone-free Thermoset Mold Release agent improves molding efficiency in many processes such as injection molding, compression molding or vacuum forming and pour cast molding.

Thermoset Mold Release is widely used as a medium for mold start-ups and quick mold touch ups.

Storage and Handling:

• Container is under pressure and must not be punctured or incinerated
