Antistatic Urea blasting abrasive
Blast Media SH BLAST UA II is made of fully (100 %) hardened UREA molding parts. In further workflows it will filtered according to American standard mesh-sizes and moistened with a special anti-static agent. SH BLAST UA II have been certified by the U.S. Air Force according to MIL-P-85891 and can be used for cleaning and paint stripping of surfaces in the aircraft industry and the military sector.
SH BLAST UA II has a gentle impact to surfaces without penetrating them – a major advantage compared to standard abrasive blasting media. In order to ensure this gentle blasting effect only fully hardened thermoset molding compounds filled with cellulose are processed.
SH BLAST UA II cleans chrome-plated injection molds, steel molds or aluminum molds as well as extruder tools and screws. It deburrs die-cast and plastic parts, activates and cleans composite or GRP parts or prepares coatings of plastic products.

SH BLAST UA II Plastic Blast Media is eco-friendly, reliable and inexpensive. It is extremely clean, easily applicable and can be used several times. It is absolutely nontoxic and it´s storage time is unlimited.
SH BLAST UA II can be used as an abrasive with dry ice blasting devices.

Attention:
When abrasive blasting always pay attention to wearing suitable protective clothing. Use suitable ventilation systems whilst working in enclosures. Only use appropriate abrasive medias for suitable applications and with the correct instructions. Incorrectly used abrasives can cause damage to the surfaces being blasted.
