Powerful Polycarbonate Blasting Media

The plastic abrasive media SH BLAST Type PC is suitable for deburring rubber parts. Rubber parts are usually deburred between-20 °c and-140 °c. Type PC has ideal properties to achieve optimal deburring results even at low temperatures. Expensive finishing of the surface is not necessary.

SH BLAST Type PC has a gentle impact to surfaces without penetrating them – a big advantage compared to standard abrasive blasting media. It is well suited for applications with sensitive products and machine parts. For a gentle blasting effect on metallic and non-metallic surfaces, only cellulose-filled thermoset molding compounds are used.

SH BLAST Type PC cleans chrome injection molds, steel or aluminum molds as well as extruder screws and tools. It deburrs die-cast and plastic parts, activates and cleans composite or GRP parts and prepares coatings for plastic products.
