Dry Ice Blaster for every cleaning application
LT 280 Double Impact is a multi talent among dry ice cleaning devices. With controllable pellet or particle feed, controllable jet pressure and the use of a special grinder, LT 280 can be used exceptionally well in all areas.
Easy-to-use and integrated 2-grinder system allows for fine and crude cleaning work. The knurled grinder is suitable for fine applications, such as headliners for automobiles, automobile seats and lime sandstone. It can also be used in conjunction with abrasive shots. Dry ice consumption is very economical.
The grinder that has been furnished with troughs is suitable for rough applications, such as applications associated with underseals, the cleansing of moulds etc.
The LT 280 is portable, fully pneumatic, economical and easy to use.
All Classic Line devices can regulate the air pressure and the ice rate to match the cleaning performance with the cleaning task. Control the ice rate setting as per your requirements:
- Jet pressure 6.5 bar / ice rate 1 / consumption = 30 kg/h
- Jet pressure 10 bar / ice rate 1.5 / consumption = 40 kg/h
- Jet pressure 10 bar / ice rate 2.5/ consumption = 60 kg/h LT 280
For tough applications such as moulds, ingot moulds, underseal, etc., we recommend the setting (of ice rate 2.5) and for light applications such as interior cleaning, motor washing, switch cabinets, fire protection, etc. we recommend a setting (of ice rate 1).
Double Impact can easily withstand operation up to a maximum jet pressure of 15 bar and an ice rate of 4.

The optional abrasive set enables to use additives like Duroplast Blasting Media to improve the cleaning performance of the device. Combining dry ice blasting with abrasive media allows for combined shot blasting with dry ice and an additive.
This expands the application area to cover, among other things, activities associated with the processing of metallic and mineral surfaces such as
- Derusting
- Paint stripping
- Cleansing of open-pored surfaces
- Material removal
- Roughening of surfaces before the application of paint layers/coatings etc.
The installation of the abrasive set is user-friendly manner and only requires a few moments.
