Concentrated Purging Compound for medical, food and pharmaceutical molding applications
RE3000 is a concentrated purging grade that needs to be mixed with your in-house resin to create individual and cost effective purging compounds.
RE3000 is specially formulated to meet the requirements of highly sensitive productions with food grade requirements such as food industry, medical appliances, manufacturing of toys and others.
This thermoplastic purging compound can be used on Injection Molding, Extrusion, and Blow Molding machines to address degradation, color changeovers, and/or material changes.
RE3000 is a non-ammonia, non-foaming chemical/mechanical purging compound, comprised of FDA/GRAS materials, often required for medical and food purging,
Its proprietary formula includes chemical and mechanical properties for high performance cleaning with no fumes. Thermally activated, RE3000 purges with a softening chemistry to soften polymer structure and lower viscosity of resident resin. Degradation is softened and loosened during the purge, pushed out with the mechanical portion of the purge.
Heavy-duty Chemical Agents
RapidPurge's proprietary formula dissolves and removes heavy and stubborn contaminants, residue and carbon build-up. As a thermally activated cleaning solution, RapidPurge's chemical cleaning compounds increase their cleaning performance with increasing temperature. Its chemical ingredients and carrier material break down plastic residues in low-viscosity molecules, which can be easily flushed out of the machine. RapidPurge also helps protects sensitive machine parts while it does not attack metals, seals or coatings.

Chemically active ingredients are preserved inside the granules to ensure high performance for the cleaning process. With very low consumption - typically a barrel filling is sufficient to unfold full cleaning performance - and impressive purging properties, RapidPurge is the ideal product for quick, gentle, effective and economical purges for extrusion molding and injection molding machines. RapidPurge helps to reduce machine downtime by up to 90%.

Concentrates:
Cost-effective pelletized concentrates allow you to customize a purging compound by adding your own carrier resin. To make a universal heat stable purge, mix with a PE or PP at a 50/50 mix ratio of equal or greater viscosity of the resin being purged. To make a clear resin purge, mix with a PC or clear resin at a 15/85 mix ratio.

Excellent Shutdown Properties
RapidPurge cleans, protects against wear and supports the efficient start-up of injection and extrusion molding equipment. The purge compounds are an excellent solution for shutting down machines. Its thermal stabilizing properties effectively protect against impurities from black specs upon machine start-up.

Maximum Results
RapidPurge's chemical cleaning granules are developed as a thermally activated product that achieve higher performance with increasing processing temperatures. The temperature can be increased up to the maximum processing temperature of your main material to minimize machine dwell time and soak cycles even in the most demanding applications.

Restrictions:
We do not recommend mixing any chemical concentrate grade with PVC, Thermoplastic Elastomers, Acetals, Acetate.
